Transnational organizations in international commerce are expanding, making an isolationist perspective increasingly difficult to support. A more siloed view of data and technology is not possible with the transient, cross-border nature of technology and data. But, with this explosion of data and rapid creation of jurisdictional specific regulations governing that data, global data management is becoming increasingly complex.
The CGC offers workshops on a variety of topics, to provide a multidisciplinary educational opportunity for attendees to dive deeply into salient topics from a legal, technological and organizational perspective. These workshops will include panel discussions to address individual concerns and questions and provide tools and techniques for attendees to take back to their organization.
Current workshop topic offerings include:
- The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- The New York Department of Financial Services (NY DFS) Cybersecurity Regulations
- The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Workshops range in duration, from one day to multi-day opportunities, and are offered in a variety of cities across the globe. If you are interested in attending a Workshop in your city or holding a Workshop at your organization, please contact us today!
